It's on the first weekend of October, three weeks before Yaoi Con, and at the San Jose Convention Center.

Yeah, same place as Fanime.

I'm on yes/no. Because all i'm interested is the movies and the Artists Alley

And is it really on SJCC? I've checked the website for the location and it doesnt direct or tell where its at. It only tells where their hotel is.

That's what my friend said.  She's the one who invited me to the con in the first place and I'll be sharing her hotel room.

My next BayArea con is YaoiCon, so I'm not going to Sillicon, even though people have asked me to go.  I'm skipping AniMagic in So.Ca (again) this year..

It's cool.  I'll be at Yaoi Con, too. xD

My gf is reserving a suite for Y-Con since it's the only room available for Y-con.  So you're welcome to crash and pitch in wit us cuz we looking for  more people so the less we pay.
So it's your choice to whether u want to share wit us or not.

why not have a moving/packing party?

i used to do that alot during college dayz, especially during this time of year....

craming random things into boxes...

reminsicing over memories (good, bad, ugly and funny)

and then after all the moving is done, share pizza, play video games

and sit/fall asleep on moving boxes...

Megatokyo reference for the win.  

I couldn't get into Megatokyo.  I read the first few chapters from the beginning, then I got bored.

And I'd love to hold a small gathering at our new house, but it should be only on the weekends since I start the fall semester on Monday and I'm still working.  We're only staying in Fremont for ten days.

Also, we are going to be WITHOUT Internet during those ten days, but I am still reachable by cell phone.  

Next weekend is Barnes Con, too.  I don't know if I can make it unless someone can pick me up from Fremont.

Anyone wanna do anything next Sunday?  

I'm meeting with Abe to pick up some Haruhi CD's thanks to Ryu, but I don't want him to drive all the way down to my place just for that, then drive back home.

We're both free to hang out with, and we're open for ideas.

It beats staying home all day.

PM either one of us or reply if you're up for this.

I know I'm the one who started this post, but I can't do anything with you folks on Sunday, the day after AOD.

Yes, we're moving to a temporary location up in Fremont,  and I need to help with the packing and unpacking.

Staying up there for ten days, then we officially move into a new apartment back down in San Jose (same area where I used to live).

And I start class really early on Monday.  I'm sorry, but feel free to have the mini-gathering without me.
