recca con is still around? Their site, reccacon.com is dead. What happened to having it at LMC?

Well havent been there since their first year.. I hope they didnt get shut down.

When I buy anime I buy in bulk.  Bestbuy (aka Electronic Wallmart) and Fry's  dont stock what I want and there is no more Suncoast in my area. Japan Video in J-town San Fran is where I buy all my anime/J-movies DVDs now. I go to Chinatown for HK movies. woot!

I was there on saturday with Lin Lin Lucy and all we did was eat lunch and walk around j-town.. We didnt even pay. There was no point in paying 15 bucks to walk in a tiny dealer room.. I call it more like a dealer hallway.. hehe.. We went to a friends house to watch new fan sub anime he just downloaded. I hope this con does get better and or bigger.. Theres no other cons going on at this time.

Staff & Volunteers / Becoming a Volunteer

Is there any possible way to volunteer to work before the con begins, or is setup reserved for the staff?

If not, I'd be glad to help an hour or two to help, but I'm not sure if I can endure six hours of volunteer work and still see enough of the con without completely burning out.

I helped out with the setup last year for the bagging a week before the con and I was not on staff. Just to help out was fun and I got to see a lot of people I know. Hay the hotel pizza wasnt too bad.

Azumanga for my crazyness, sillyness, and friendliness.
Sakura Diaries for my , humm,, Naughtyness and Sexuality side.. (tee hee)
Lain for my computer, gamer, nerd, techy and spaceing out side.

oh.. back on topic..

Dragon Ball Z.. ~~~ Worse anime ever!  Only reason they show this is for the imature teeage boys.  Couldnt cartoon network show more animes for everyone like Tenchi muyo. They did show it for awhile. Its got a little of everything. Or how about something new, "Azumana Daio" Great little anime and they dont have to edit out anything. Funny as hell.

Great now im probley going get flamed by the cartoon network N00bs.. "Dragon ball z is the best, bla bla bla.." Guess what,, I dont give a cabbit crap. LOL  I have the right to speak my mind. And It wont bother me one bit if you say tenchi muyo sucks. So dont even start with the flameing.

Tenchi doesn't suck but nither dose DBZ if you follow the story line insted of just watching it for the battles it's actualy quite interesting ...

Yea.. DBZ would be great If I didn't have to watch 15 mins of a battle to see 5 mins of a storyline. Its just my opinion.

Thats the second time you've asked my age. How many times do I have to tell you that I'm 17. Besides the manga for Yu-Gi-Oh is violent and uncensored, unlike the one on the WB.
Just because someone may like anime that may be childish does not make that person a child.

Yea.. you should of been there when Sword, Ryu and I were in the Hentai room at fanime.. LOL.. Funny stuff sword. Great jokes!  "HOOORSSSEEE!!!"
