I wish  it was, I gave it the 4 episode test and it just didn't seem to go anywhere. I don't have the paitence to wade thru 52 episodes to find out what is going on. Very disappointing :(

Blood+ really wasn't all that great.  I admit that I didn't give it 4 episodes.  I quit after 2 or 3 minutes of the second.

Well I personally thought it was good from the get-go, and then it only got better and better. I'm more anxious for ep 20 right now than I was for 19! I haven't seen such a suspenseful series in  while. I really feel like I'm watching a movie. *waves Hagi and Saya flag*

Of course, this is just me and I'm sure others might have different opinions though.

We decided to drop it mostly since it is licensed by Sony and people seem to like Mushishi more.
