I've seen too many people altering their costumes in the pre-reg line with little hand-held sewing machines. When I ask them about it, it turns out they either gained or lost weight and they have to do a little fixing on their costumes, but tried it on the night before without giving it much of a thought about how they might have grown/changed.

But you know, some people work better under pressure.
It all really depends how well the lies are told...
