Can I have some advice from past skit performers?

I plan on doing one for this year, but I never performed in from a large crowd. Can I have some advice for a rookie like me. I have an Idea but I don't want to be made a fool of.

heres my advice from just performances that i have done and watching skits ( i have never done anime skit persay but i play music infront of people regularly so i hope it helps)
firstly no one likes monologs... no matter how funny they are if you are just reciting something and talking to the audience just dont do it its borring to watch (i was at a con where a person did that as their preformance and it was awfull) even though you said large group i just wanted to put that out there
when preforming one of the things i have come to realize is if you mess up and people make fun of you and joke about it just joke along with them and keeping this in mind it will be less nerve racking when you preform because you dont care if you mess up
be prepaired and dont keep the people waiting and make sure your costume is all fixed up befor you preform check to make sure no riped parts broken things or loose items

Thanks Now I got to rewrite my skit to make it more interesting, I have an Idea of what I need to cut out.

Give it a title to sum up the whole thing.

Now all I need is more advice.

Well what about pre-recorded like "The Laughing man needs to hack your minds before he begins"

I got it! A different idea. And all I need is the Mighty Mouse theme song and my right arm, a table and water! And I won't be talking, I'll have the announcer give the point of it.

what alot of cons do is you can prerecord your entire skit and then sync your movements with it and go on stage and present it like that
