Granted. Skin flakes now pile up in all locations of the world since the microscopic bugs that feed on them are now dead. Any animals that eat insects die. (Birds, frogs, rodents, etc.) Since bees are now dead no plants get pollinated, therefore all of those plants eventually die out. (Fruit trees, flowers, tons of other plants.) Any animals that made their living off of those plants or the small animals that have already become extinct, now also follow suit and die.

Any small insect-like creatures in the sea are now also dead. Any creatures that fed off of these are now dead...and so on down the chain until all sea life has been extinguished. Since there are no animals cleaning up the sea of dead carcasses and waste materials, the sea overflows with the stench of death and beaches are now inhabitable.

Since earthworms are also considered insects, there is now nothing to churn the earth's soil and keep it fresh for plant life. The dirt hardens after years of not being moved and eventually becomes too rough and packed to soak in enough water for a majority of plant life to grow. With this much plant life gone there is not enough photosynthesis to sustain humanity's oxygen needs. Much of our race dies off as the atmosphere is filled with the toxic gases we exhale all day. Because of this the ozone layer depletes drastically and the planet becomes one huge lifeless desert.
