ok im making a kaito cosplay and im wondering for the coat should i make it zip up and if so how far?

Sorry, probably a dumb question, as I think it's the Vocaloid Kaito.. but still. If it is Vocaloid Kaito From the pictures Ive seen it's hard to tell if it's a zip up jacket or not.

Put a zipper on it. Because it looks like the only part that is supposed to be loose it the lower jacket part. So maybe put the zipper to the waist up to the neck??
