FanimeCon 2011 Karaoke Contest Signups Now Open!

hey everyone!!
i posted a thing about everyone gettin together before the contest
so heres some more info about it

since sign ups are between 2-5:30
lets say meet around 5:30 in front of the karaoke room
that way it gives everyone time to check in and rehearse and practice and watnot

if we're gonna post on here who we all are and our real names
then there we can all meet up, say hi, give each other good luck hugs and words of well-wishing
if u wanna make sure that ppl remember u, wear one of those name tags that say "Hi. My name is _____" hahaha
that seems so elementary school-ish
then we all sit together when we go up
way for companionship? i think so :D

i really want to meet fellow karaoke-ers who have done this and even the newbies!
new ppl are always fun :)

EDIT: also what do people normally wear? Is it ok to be casual like? Or dress like you are going on an interview for a job?

I will not be cosplaying, I will dress comfortably, thats for sure and I will at least look decent and presentable.
I was just planning to dress as if I was going to school. Because I get really nervous wearing even semi-formal stuff.

As for meeting around 5:30, it sounds like a plan to me and I think doing a group picture for all the participants would be fun ^___^ <3 always nice to make new friends >w<

well the likely hood is that the 40 spots have already been taken
but they do have some spots left for at-con sign ups
altho iono the details abotu those
u can still join in the group meeting :)
