Lol you obviously haven't seen Akira then. I highly suggest you do since it's an amazing movie. Anyway, back to your question, the Dealer's Hall usually opens at 8 am. At least, that's when they've opened it for the last 4+ years, and it has stayed open until 8 pm.

These are the official Dealers hours:

Fri - 2:00pm to 8:00pm
Sat - 10:00am to 7:00pm
Sun - 10:00am to 7:00pm
Mon - 10:00am to 3:00pm

Planning to head to the dealers room first thing on friday :3 wanna get my nerd shopping out of the way so i can do everything else during the weekend, plus i really dont wanna miss out on getting anything XD

I never go to dealers hall on Friday. They abuse you. lol. It's fun walking around the dealers hall and yes, there are a FEW things that are there that you can't get as easily otherwise, but let's be honest: 90% of the time you can get a much better deal online for most of the stuff you find. I never go to dealers hall to buy anything until Saturday, and I save the majority of my shopping for Sunday or Monday.

But, to each his own. :)
