My boyf and I were planning on attending blizzcon instead of fanime this year and dun dun dun blizzcon gets canceled. UGH RAGE. Now I want to go to fanime, but is there enough time to get everything ready?! D:

BLIZZCON GOT CANCELED? O__O What happened??? Wasn't planning to go... but that's a huge shock to hear that it was!

Well since they announced Mists of Pandaria last Blizzcon, I think they feel like they have nothing to offer us. Also, they're working on Project Titan, MoP, and D3. They really really need to get on the MoP release because Cata has been out since Dec 10', usually they wait ~18ish months before a new expansion. A blue post also said that it wasn't supposed to be guaranteed yearly, but it ended up being annual for the last 5 years. It just stinks because people were expecting it (it would have been my first Blizzcon!) and then got let down. Sad really.

That's really disapointing on their part... I understand they have things to work on but it's a shame their convention had to get cut due to it :( I feel like the point of most conventions are because they're yearly, and Blizzcon certainly seemed to be doing well as one so that's pretty disappointing.... I'm really sorry everyone, we had picked this time since the thread began last July. We have already asked BSapphire and we can't change the time. Perhaps ask the homestuck coordinators if they can change the time (if they have not submitted their time slot application)?

If you guys already had a set time submitted for that long I'm surprised they'd actually put it so close to Kuro o__o
