Fanime Masquerade Art Contest - DUE MAY 20 !

Hi everyone!

We are holding an art contest for the FanimeCon Masquerade Badges! Essentially, we would like to have donated art piece that we can use on stickers for our registered Masquerade contestants.

The key to this is that YOU might be a winner of 4 front-row seats for the Fanime Masquerade, no lines, no hassle, just 4 of you sitting pretty with a fantasic view.

How do you enter the contest? I need your entry submitted to my e-mail address [ [email protected] ] by NO LATER than May 20, 2007.

The artwork can be in color or black & white, digital or hand-drawn, and needs to feature "COSPLAY". Whatever "cosplay" means to you (it can be various people dressed in costumes, etc.). The image needs to be scanned at 300 DPI, and be no bigger than 4 inches wide and 2 inches tall (when printed).  Try to leave room for us to put the Fanime logo, the year, and the Group's  Name.

The winning entry will be used for cosplay promotional materials for 2007, and may be featured in future Fanime Materials (such as program guides, etc.) We will, of course, credit you for the image.

Just curious, but are submissions still being sought after?
Wondering, and if so, looking at last year's winner: is the art supposed to 'face' a certain direction? Or will that be worked with regardless of how the composition is set up?

No, it doesn't need to face any particular direction. There just needs to be room for us to write the group name and the group number :)

And, yes, we are accepting submissions until Sunday (May 20).

It's going to be DARN hard to choose. The entries I have received so far are amazing...!

We are so amazed that we are planning rewarding the second and third place winners with Masq pre-seating tickets as well (but only 2 tickets for second and third place).
