You're officially competing against your character's gender. So even if you are female dressed as a male character, or a male dressing as a female character, it is your character's gender that determines which item you are tracking down.

However, all female characters can ban together to take the male object-to-find, as can the male characters all ban together to take the female object-to-find, act as a team, and try to keep it from the opposite group for as long as possible, maybe even until the end of the Game if they can manage it.  :D

You are correct, even character's who are gender-confused have a preferred gender, thus you are playing with the gender that your character chooses.

Now, if you were dressing as a charcter such as Nuriko from Fushigi Yuugi, then it would depend on which version of Nuriko you were doing. Cause he's male, but dresses female for most of the series, but then reverts to male at times too. So, depending on which cosplay version you choose, would determine which gender you are protraying and which object you are looking for.  :)

The date and time of Catch the Barrel-Catch that Prize has officially been determined!! \^o^/

As of today we have the "items to find" completely set and ready for use during Fanime. Now we are constantly on the look-out for prize-items.

Rules and Guidelines are in the First Post. Anyone and Everyone in Cosplay is welcome to play.

Any more updates will be posted as soon as possible. Count down from less than four months has begun.  ;)

The Collection Station, where this game shall begin and end will be located at the Cosplay Gathering Table(s) on the First Floor of the Convention Center.

Also, thanks to the help of BSaphire, this game has become an official Cosplay Event.

For this reason, Fanime asks that we warn you that they may be taking pictures of this event. If you do not want to be included in those pictures please step aside for those photos. By remaining with the group when the pictures are being taken you give your consent to be photographed.

Saturday will see me as either Medusa [Soul Eater] or Mirror Card [CardCaptor Sakura] for sure. The former will kick your butt to next the following Sunday, and the latter will look like you're preying on the innocent. In other words, you'll lose either way. ^____^
