It's open to everyone. Most Fanime Staff people are part of BAAS as well. I've been going to that for a few years now.

I'm really looking forward to this, our 18th year of holding this BBQ. Here we are one week out, and as I promised, here's the menu:
 
Ribs
Beef Roast
Mequite Chicken
Sausage
Mac n Cheese, yes, it's back   ;)
Turkey Spaghetti
Collard Greens
Corn Medly     
Broccoli Slaw
Cucumber Basil Salad
Potato Salad
Layered Green Salad
and for dessert:

Super-sized Strawberry Shortcake w/real whipped cream

.....and players to be named later. Pace yourselves, stretchpants optional :)

Movies,Games (video,board, etc),Soft Drinks,bottled water,Ice, and snacks to share until the meat comes off the pit.

Bring a sweater or coat for the evening. No matter what the weather forcast says, or how warm it is when you get here, the wind will come up and temperature will drop.

Some good news, the gas station on the corner has dropped to $3.99 but there are stations nearby at $3.89

The street parking has not improved from a few weeks ago so I again encourage you to try and carpool if you can.

My one rule this year because of gas prices is this: I will not be picking up or taking anyone home this year. So if you managed to get here by bart/bus, have a plan to get home.

One thing that i would like to mention, if you would like to come, you're more than welcome, but as this is something of a pot-luck type affair, please try to bring something.  We are always in need of soda, ice, appatizers, desserts, etc.  And, if you want to bring a main dish, try to either bring something that doesn't need to be fully cooked, but maybe only rewarmed, or something that is readily cooked on a grill like sausages or the like.  I hope to see you all there!
