So I was thinking it's about time to start thinking about this season and what might be worth checking out.

Shikabane Hime - Who knows.
Yozakura Quartet - Looks like it'll have a great OP and ED. May or may not be worthwhile otherwise.
Hakushaku to Yousei - Could be good. Basic on light novels, has Mizuki Nana, nice-looking promo art...
Mouryou no Hako - CLAMP character designs and Nightmare OP/ED. Oh god. -_-;;
Linebarrels of Iron - lol, Gundam Seed character designs and bad Gonzo CG.
Tales of the Abyss - I think I'd like to play the game first.
Kuroshitsuji - It has a Taku Iwasaki soundtrack. That's enough to give it a chance.
ToraDora - Looks like it has big seiyuu names.
Ga-Rei -Zero- - Has nice character designs. Could be good.
Clannad After Story - hells yeah.

I'm liking the feel of Kannagi. It's got a nice flavor about it, and an absurd feel that's not too crazy. It's staying pretty close to manga material.

As for me, all I got to say is that it's all about tha collarbone.

I have, thusfar, checked out: CLANNAD ~AFTER STORY~, HYAKKO, Kannagi, Kuroshitsuji, Macademi WAsshoi, Tales of the Abyss, Toaru Majutsu no Index, and Toradora.

I went into this season not expecting much.  Honestly, the titles I saw tossed around and the preview image that's been circulating didn't get me hyped at all.  Thankfully, like last season, things turned out a bit better than I expected.  So far, I'm not going to rule out anything I've already watched.  I'm gonna have to get in a couple more episodes to see if I can continue with some of them though.

Weaker series: HYAKKO, Macademi WAsshoi
HYAKKO has potential to be a fun slice-of-life romp, but the first episode left me a bit unimpressed.  It also didn't help that the character designs didn't click with me right away.  Macademi WAsshoi is a wacky comedy series that wasn't wacky enough to be too amusing yet.  Unless it gets a bit funnier, I'll probably drop it.

Series I'll probably watch: Kannagi, Kuroshitsuji, Toaru Majutsu no Index, Toradora
Kannagi has good potential.  It's probably going to be a fun watch, Nagi's cute, and it doesn't feel cheap.  The OP sequence is probably the most compelling of the season, IMO.  Kuroshitsuji is cool and dark.  Toaru Majutsu no Index is a "series with I'VE theme(s)."  That, in itself, implies something about the show and makes it a potential watch for me.  Aside from that, the world itself is interesting and Index is pretty cute.  Toradora looks to be another Kugimiya Rie series.  I get SHANA/Zero no Tsukaima-esque vibes from it.  That's kinda good, but not great.  Probably good enough for watch though.

Watching: CLANNAD ~AFTER STORY~, Tales of the Abyss
Kinda no-brainers here.  I liked CLANNAD, so I'm just continuing from there.  Tales of the Abyss has, so far, been an acceptable adaptation of the game.  And it looks, surprisingly, nicer than I expected.  Sure, it'll all just be recap for me, but Abyss was a good game, so I'm not going to complain.

Everything's based on one episode (two for TotA).  Things can very well shift.

I'm also waiting for some other stuff.  Especially Chaos;Head.  I'll write more when I see more.

So far, I've also been pleasantly surprised.

Toaru Majutsu no Index was structured a little weird, and it had a combination of cliche and new stuff. The designs are cute, though, the plot shows promise, and the animation is pretty decent quality, so I'll probably watch more.

Kuroshitsuji was also pretty weird, but intriguing enough to warrant another episode at least. A friend recommends it based on the manga, so now my hopes are up. At the very least, Taku Iwasaki didn't disappoint.

ToraDora was also better than I expected, mainly because Taiga is completely bonkers. The show was just off-the-wall enough to be really funny.

CLANNAD ~AFTER STORY~ - amazing. But it already has its own thread.
