There are lots of contests at Fanime, and most of them have prizes. What are you looking for in particular?

could you be more specific? your question seems to be very Vague.

but in short, theres plenty of activities at fanime where a member/wanderer can do while adventuring around the Convention floor and Concourse.

From the video game rooms that offer tournaments, the Live Programming Game/ Quiz show that offer prized for who knows what...
from the dealers/Artist Alley giving out raffle tickets for rare and interesting items... even to Stage Zero where showing off skills and or talents may sometimes get you free publicity, instant 15 seconds of fame and sometimes a booby prize just for laughs.

yes, there are spoils aplenty at Fanime... you just have to know where, how, and be in the right place at the right time to get them.

I won the game 'BLACK' for the Xbox in a Anime Quiz Contest. It saddens me that I was the only contestant who recognized Rei from Evangelion...
Anyways, the game was used, not to mention out of date considering the Xbox1 was dead by then. Heck, they did not even out forth the effort to remove the sticker that said $3.00.
Judging from that, I would not expect BIG prizes, nothing over $10. There may be a few with big prizes, but not many.
