Early Registration: During pick-up, do I need an ID?

So, I've been browsing around these forums and I came across topics where people said that they had to show their ID's before picking up their badges.

I'm... quite compuzzled ^^;;;
Is it for Pre-Registered people or Early Registered people? Or both?

Sorry if this had been answered so many times. This is my first time going to Fanime on a full weekend ^__^;

And ta differentiate, Thursday is the start for Pre-Reg pick-up only. Early Reg pickup starts on Friday. ^^
