More Japanese Guests

Is it possible for next year that Fanime to have more Japanese guests? (preferably well known seiyus) I know Fanime has a limited budget (Fanime is not Anime Expo) and right now is probably a bad time to invite people overseas especially with the recent epidemic scare not to mention they all have busy schedules. Don't get me wrong I'm fine with whatever guest Fanime has its just that with how big Fanime has gotten over the years I would figure you guys would get more Japanese guests. I'm just sharing my honest thoughts don't take it the wrong way.

What Japanese guest would you like to see?

Please be realistic, people like Rumiko Takahashi, Hayao Miyazaki, CLAMP, Tite Kubo, Masashi Kishimoto etc is a bit out of reach (Unless somebody here has a rich uncle to donate $$$ to get these guests =) ?).

Well it depends on if the guests are available
now and then the guests are pretty hard to get.
but they can be get.
if they accept that is.

In terms of seiyu the ones I really want to meet are Houko Kuwashima, Takahiro Sakurai, Mamoru Miyano, Akria Ishida, Megumi Hayashibara, Yui Horie, Kotono Mitsuishi and Maaya Sakamoto. However in realistic terms if I were to only pick one of each (man and woman) it would have to be Houko Kuwashima and Mamoru Miyano.

For an anime director probably a tie between Shinichiro Watanabe and Seiji Mizushima (they've been to american anime conventions before)

For manga artist definetly the person who made Black Lagoon Rei Hiroe.

Megumi Hayashibara hasn't been to SJ since AnAm days, that would be awesome to get her again!

Since next year will be the 20th anniversary of AnimeCon '91 (which started it all in the US for anime conventions), it would be interesting to get back those guests for Fanimecon. I wonder if people would be interested? For old times sake and all.

Please keep up with the good suggestions! We really want your feedback on guests! =)

I would say...that most of them were afraid to come over due to the swine flu scare.

So for next year, the odds of getting some more guests are probably higher.
