LFM Summer FUN!!! - Dance Lessons

During Fanime I spent a good amount of time learning how to dance in the dance studio and it was amazingly fun. I am sure there are people here who enjoyed it as much as I did since the turn out during the lessons were so large.

I am looking people who would love dance and want to learn some epic moves in the department of:
Tango
Cha Cha
Foxtrot
Rumba
East Coast Swing
Two Step
Salsa
Waltz

If you any Fanime friends who wants to learn tell them to get on the forums!

I enjoyed East Coast swing alot, but wouldn't mind learning any of these dances. Dan (one of the dance instructor) i think that was his name :/ , said they're offering free dance lessons in Campbell. I've done some research and found that alot of places are offering free beginners dancing lessons, so if u're interested in learning please post here.

Just post if u're interested and which dance you're interested in and if u want to be the leader or follower.

I am willing to pick up and drop off anyone who doesn't have a ride.

my roommates had dance classes at SJSU i think they took salsa and told me about the dance practicing studio or something in campbell.

i have 3 left feet with all broken toes.

but after watching "so you think you can dance" i suppose there are worse ppl out there.

I'd be down chatting with ya and maybe finding out more how to get my "groove" on

and then open up the "dance" club in my own home as everyone is joking about :P

I've been a bit busy lately and haven't been online much. By monday I'll start posting time and places hopefully we can all gather around the second week of JULY. By then hopefully we'll find more people. the time will be after 6 ish since i work fulltime.

Yeah I was one of the guys who assisted people in the dance lessons mostly towards EC Swing and Waltz during Fanime and I had so much fun.  I do Waltz Modern and Vienese style, EC Swing, and about to learn Tango next semester.  I would recommend people to check out the PEERS event every month and the Dickens Fair this year.  I learn how to V Waltz at those event.

They're located in japan town. Free lessons are on Thursday and Friday, it starts at 7:05 pm.  Check out the website out and let me know. I would like to try different dance studios and dances, and this place looks like a really good place to start.  If you guys can get in contact with me so we start planning our gathering.  I might be able to get 2 girls to join us but they're not sure yet.  i don't have a digi cam so if someone does please bring it so we can post pictures of win and awesome to attract more people.

yah, it was way fun! if anyone is interested in joining us they're more then welcome to. just txt/call me and we can plan some ridesharing and what not. There are tons of people there with a wide range of age from young to old. The way the instructions went is exactly the same as it did in Fanime, Very friendly to all level of experience. You don't need to go with a partner because there will be rotations and what not. Plenty of Hot chicks and guys ;)
