Ironically after spending some 10-15 hours a day for four days a week learning the highest level of classic world cuisines I usually find myself most enjoying the microscopic gyro shop across the street. Oh what a world.

I travel a lot for work and I like looking for local joints to eat at, rather than chain restaurants.  Po'Shines in Portland, OR trains at risk youth to work in the food business AND has great food.  The day I ate there, ribs and fried chicken wings were on the menu.  Not seen in the photo is my side of red beans and rice. (I ate the red beans and rice, and one rib (out of three) and had to take the remaining ribs and chicken wings on the plane back home with me to CA. My bro was very happy!)

actually i bake the potato, and grill the steaks with a mediteranian spice rub, medium well. the beer is served cold, of course.

on a WAY more healthier note. My roommate is vegan, so ive been sampling some of her usual hang out places in the bay area!

I went to this place called " Loving Hut "  in oakridge and i really enjoyed their food!
