Club 2 the Max 2011 Dates announced

July 1st-3rd 2010, held at the Anaheim Convention center.

MAX offers fans a different type of event with no need for a badge but instead attend and pay a small fee for events you want to attend, but a lot of events will be free including Exhibitor Hall.

MAX started July 1st 2010 at the club Nokia featuring the world premier movie from Eri Mano Kai-Ki: Tales of Terror from Tokyo with Q&A as well as the Mini concert with Eri Mano, also the Animaid cafe and Whose Line is it Anime joined up with MAX to give fans a great day, but the night finished with Yoshiki charity foundation and showcase showing off new inspired hello kitty Yoshiki items, apparel from the mind of Yoshiki which finished with a special show from X Japan and filming for a new music video.

That was a one day only event, 2011 will be 3 days long.

Being a unit member of S.H.I.E.L.D. will provide staff privileges including shared crash space, meals, special events, raffles, staff only badges, etc.

There is a minimum of 8 hour work days.  Unit Members are to execute the objectives of the department in tandem of their Unit Leaders.  Unit Members are the primary customer service contact within the convention and should always emphasize courtesy and a customer service mind-set throughout the convention.  Unit Members are expected to be able to be proactive in their responsibilities and to execute the duties of the department; including handling event lines, preventing potential hazards and being the official service diplomat of Club 2 the MAX.  Volunteer job description and requirements are available online.  Come join the Club 2 the MAX family today!

Is SHIELD like Rovers?

wouldn't know but seems its jobs are to keep people in line, keep things going smoothly so everyone can have fun while keeping things safe.

I was joking around with my friends saying I want to have a prop gun, and the Shield outfit from them marvel universe but either way nice to see MAX staffing early since it seems like it wants to be a con people will enjoy and talk about after talking to a few of their staff members so I may sign up for this

No it's not part of Anime Expo its a completely different con held by a different faction but there are former AX people involved. From what i know it is just another con offering a different choice for con goers after the bad choices and anger that occured at this years AX, but MAX was founded this year as not an anime con but a different event that featured Animaid cafe, Whose Line is it Anime, Eri Mano's  movie premier so it wasnt an anime con, but this year is a bit different since they announced TBS is part of it (Tokyo Broadcast system  not Turner)
