Is the registration for Artists Alley open yet? If not, when will it open?

I have one more question. Ok, my friends and I are getting a table at Artist Alley, but I graduate the day FanimeCon starts, so would I be able to still get in and run the table with my group if I'm a day late? D:

We usually require Artists to claim their table on Friday, but you may be able to make other arrangements with the AA department head.

The AA Department Head? Like, one of the people who runs AA(if so, how do I contact this person?) or my group leader for the convention?
That may be a stupid question, sorry. lol

I would recommend that you wait till registration opens to contact the staff. Expect that in the weeks and months after new years.

Ok, so with the stuff we talked about a few weeks ago, and I still plan on talking to the AA staff about holding my table until saturday so I can attend my graduation, but what's up with the badges?
Like, do those get picked up the day the convention starts or sometime before? And if before, where do they need to be picked up at? I ask because my friends and I are discussing who will be the group leader and if the badges are to be gotten the day the event starts then I obviously can't be in charge.

Badges can be picked up anytime during registration hours on any day of the con, as well as on some hours during Day 0 (Thursday) before the convention actually begins (on Friday). Group leaders do not affect the badge pickup process, however. I'm fairly sure each person must go to pick up their own badge by showing their own form of government-issued ID at registration.

Actually, if you register as a group only the group leader can pick up badges. So make sure it's someone you trust not to loose things. I believe you'll need your badge to clam your table.

Clarification: Badges for Fanime convention need to be picked up by yourself. Artist Alley -stickers- that go on your convention badges must be picked up by your group leader.

Will you guys tell us a week or two beforehand when you'll open AA registration so we can get our sales permits ready again this year?

Same question as above, I am new to AA registration and I have no way knowing how long it will take me to get CA seller permit
Should I apply for CA seller permit right now and just tell them I need permit in February in case we need it to register for AA, or I can still wait until further notice?
There are a lot of information needed to be confirm for applying CA seller permit (The price of table, the date we need the permit, etc), and I've been gathering information from last year's thread. Obviously I am not sure if there's any changes this year...and I hope I don't get my permit application rejected because I wrote something wrong...?

You will not need your permit number for AA registration, so don't worry about it until registration goes up, contracts are out, and all information is set and accurate. :) The dates you need the permit is the duration of the convention: May 27-30, NOT when registration goes up.
