I just need a little bit of help on my Sellers permit for Fanime 2011.
My friends and I are planning to do artist alley for the year of 2011, and I need the information of the organizer or promoter of this event, All i need is the person's name, address, and/or Phone #.
And I just want some suggestions, when should I turn in my application for the seller's permit app, to get it in time for fanime AA launch.

Thank you for reading ^ ^

There's a very thorough walkthrough for filling out the seller's permit application at this thread: http://forums.fanime.com/index.php/topic,8365.0.html
If you need more help or explanation, you can also go to your local BOE office and they can walk you through the application in person and answer any questions you may have on the spot. (If you're nearby San Jose, I would suggest going into the San Jose BOE office. The people working there deal with artists and vendors getting seller permits every year, so they can pretty much fill out certain parts for you there. All you need is your own information. :) )

As for when, if you mail in the app, it usually takes between 2 weeks to a month to get processed and get a copy of the seller's permit mailed to you, so give them a little over a month before the convention.

If AA registration this year requires a permit number to register, you should get the permit as soon as you're sure you want to do AA. It's free, so even in the worst case if you don't get in, you won't really be losing anything by getting a permit early. If AA registration does not require a permit number on the spot, I would suggest, at the very LATEST (end of procrastination, haha), to mail in the app by the first week of May. If you're going in person to a BOE office, they'll give it to you on the same day right then and there, so you can pretty much go anytime. In the past, we've turned people away at check-in without permits to go literally down the street and get a permit. It's that close to the convention and it's really that easy.

Sorry my reply ended up a bit long! Seller's permits are really important!
