It's interesting to see the trend of the poll.  In the previous year's dance poll it seemed as though there was an interest in keeping it 18+ for a different vibe/style of event.  2 years ago, the musical style was very different, but as a result turned away many people.  I encourage more people to vote to give us an idea of your feelings.

This will be my first ever Fanime dance, I always wanted to go but could never afford the registration XD But... if I had to pick out of these, I say Musical Style matters most to me.. *coughPLAYKPOPcough*

So many people have chosen different musical styles, yet for the past 2 years EDM continues to be the only musical style that sustains a draw.  We are willing to consider incorporating Asian Pop this year, however would people rather hear it at the beginning or at the end of the night?

I prefer the EDM myself, but Asian Pop is cool too I guess. I'm probably going to be in the dance for the first hour or so each night, maybe popping in once or twice later throughout the night.

Since EDM seems to be the big draw, it should probably be EDM in the beginning with Asian Pop later in evening after the fans of the most popular genre have been satisfied.

Totally agree with you....!!!

Depending on how much space and time is available, I'd think that a main floor for the hardcore jcore stuff should run throughout the night. An alternative room could play different styles.

However, in both spaces, a line-up of the genres and styles needs to be publicized very clearly. I think most people who attend the "dance" are expecting more of a hardcore style of dance. So, the people who voted in this forum for asian pop and other genres need to be well-informed of where/when that will be played. it's about informing the right audience for the right genre.

Super agree with this. Maybe with a sign thingie in front like the video rooms with something like
"X:00-Y:00 - DJ Whatever - Hardcore, Trance
Y:00-Z:00 - DJ Random - KPop, JPop"
