hey i remember reading something about akira being played for some cult movie series some place and that fanime people get like $1.50 off tickets. where was this exactly and when was/is it? :o

i completely forgot about it till today and i really wanted to go xP

Unfortunately you missed it...  :( It was at part of Camera 3's Cult movie night, on the 9th and the 11th, two blocks away in either direction from the convention center and from SJSU. Tickets were originally priced at 7.50. Showing your fanime badge made it 6.50.

However, there's going to be a special premiere showing of Trigun: Badlands on July 23rd. No badge discount, though.

I love the Psycho Donuts that sits in the theater lobby. The only place I know that sells beer smoothies.
