What are the sign ups like for AA tables?

Hellooo,

I've never signed up for a table before, so I have no idea how the form looks or how long it takes. Does a link appear magically on the AA page at 12 noon? Do we click a button that holds our space while we fill out our information? Or does the table go to whoever fills out their info the fastest?

My understanding is that Fanime badges can be purchased at the same time as AA table tickets. Does buying the Fanime badge at that time make the process any slower? I'm not sure if I want to go to Fanime if I don't have a table. However, I would be willing to buy the membership badge before sign ups if it gives me even a slightly better chance of getting a table.

I feel like I'm being really nitpicky, but I just really want a table and I know they sell out super fast.

edit: Also... what's the process for signing up in pairs? The AA Agreement form I downloaded doesn't say anything about signing up with a partner.

the sign up was online.. so its a process and fill out thing

the goodnews is its not complicated..
I guess they ask for your name address, and a portfolio of what you do for a living.
all those three is kinda easy that is if you have a portfolio of your works (ex: yourwebsite or deviantart or some other organization i barely know of).

then you will have to wait until A.a.A. agrees taht your in the list, so you pay a HEAVY price of $75 (it used to be $60T_T! )... for 1table..
then once you paid its completed...
there was an :option: for adding the Temporary Sellers permit #, but I think this year they might remove that feature!...

But it was a good idea to showcase a persons portfolio O_O!...

once your done, and your there.. they will ask for id, sellers permits. abide to rules.. and HOPEFUlly gives you 2 stickers 1 for you and a helper for your choice!.....

I seee. So it's a combination of filling your info out fast and filling it out correctly?

If I send my form in early enough to get a table but my info is wrong, I lose my table to someone on the waiting list?

See, it would be nice if they finished their FAQ section of the artist's alley so we can all have the basic questions answered!  ;)

yeah true but thats how it was 1 year ago was...

my biggest concern is...
was'nt there some sort of loophole to by pass 1 table to create 2 tables..
ya know.
hire a friend.... he or shy buys a table... (wont go any further because i don't want to give any ideas!)

but yeah thats how its been sicne last year.. I think they wont introduce the lottery system this year now that the priced jumped!

the payment can take its sweet time until march 5th...
so its just a Sign up.. wait until fanime approves you
and then Take your time to pay the tables!..erh.. before march 5th ( i think)
