HARUHISM!  Currently tied for my favorite series with Utawarerumono. :D

Watched episode 7 last night.  Of course it wasn't a resolution to episode 7, it wouldn't be the SOS Brigade if it was! :D  Was a little different from previous episodes, a little more on the serious side...

Episode 8 is going to appeal to all those Kyon x Haruhi shippers. They don't blatantly hide it either.

hehe yep the scene when they're sitting at the rock is great :)
actually, they also gave a hint in episode 6 with the camera

however, the non-linear episodes are kinda annoying...because we see the result of her change before we see the process :P

I just watched episode 9, and... I don't get it. It's supposedly episode 14, which according to what I've heard will be the last episode (Kyoto might've planned to make the show longer, but needs staff to do a remake of Kanon), and it's like... neither a good ending, nor a hilarious episode, or anything! I mean, there are some good lines and stuff, but overall... the episode is way too mellow... It's like... something's wrong here, but I don't know what...

EDIT: Also, sales of the novels and the ending theme CD on Amazon have apparently been straight-up spectacular. If the show really is that much of a moneymaker, I wonder if Kyoto Animation will extend it, or make a sequel.

yea it's a little slow, but to me this show has never been about gut-busting comedy
anyway, this episode gives the biggest hint of haruhi's feelings so far
I'm guessing the last episode of the anime will be the last episode of the melancholy book (1st book), which has a more...action-oriented climax. Perhaps the 14 episode length + this episode is the reason why they made it non-linear, so it ends with a bang :)
