Episode 3 was intense. And kind of confusing.

Interesting that Rolo's geass appears to stop time - I wonder if he ACTUALLY stops time (which would make it the first Geass that doesn't relate to the mind) or if he just freezes the consciousnesses of the people within its radius, so that they perceive time as having stopped. I expect we'll find out soonish. EDIT: On second look, the water in the background kept flowing, while Viletta was frozen right in front of it, and reflections still moved within the time-stopped area. So he probably is affecting characters' minds, not time itself.

Also, I have to wonder if the Emperor went and adjusted all the student council members' memories in person. Seems like a lot of trouble to go to, and we still don't know why he kept Lelouch alive, aside from some compunction over killing his own offspring. EDIT: Apparently, it's all a trap to recapture C.C.?

Oh yeah, and the special thing about Lelouch's contact lens must be that it's impossibly easy to remove or put back in. ;)

I think some Flow songs are extremely catchy and oddly, their anime OPs are some of their best work... I still give them respect for their song "colors" for their simple positive lyrics and catchy tunes. Their older works like "okuru kotoba" which was a cover song for Kaientai gave them some mass exposure but I always though they were mediocre at best, especially their older more hiphop influenced works. And I still think bands like Uverworld and Flow should leave rapping out entirely, they really can't do it right. Leave the mainsteam pop rap to groups like Ketsumeishi. I mean come on, even HY's drummer does it better.

Jinn may be young, but I believe they are a solid band, but Hii-tan's vocals as a frontwoman and their sound as a whole may not suit everyone. I really don't think "Kaidoku Funou" showed their potential at all either. But yeah, they could've picked a better artist for the 2nd op, especially when they didn't even bother making new visuals for the 2nd op.

As for something like Ali project? I wouldn't know, it's not music.

Colors was the only song I considered an exception to their awful taste. My comment about "the last two OPs" was referring to Kaidoku Funou by Jinn and Hitomi no Tsubasa by Access (from eps 24-25). And Hitomi no Tsubasa isn't a great song, but it shows potential. It's kind of catchy.

They were really fucking lazy about the visuals for the first-season OPs, though.

SPOILERS :If lulu some how is part of the New pink hair fighter girl getting killed at anytime in the show, I am so backing the Britannia army.  So far all geass's powers are some form or anther of mental power. "mind read" "suggestion""memory""time laps". so anyone got any ideas of others like that? I just realized Mao's Power did not need him to look into the eyes of others.

ok so whats a New geass you would think will be in the show?  I can only think of a geass that when you turn it on. you make your target or targets around you Have deep fear of something, so much they cant do anything.

SPOILERS :But so far I think Lulu's power was/is the best. He can in some way repeat other peoples geass

Ichigo's voice actor doesn't really give a bitter vibe, at least to me. Kallen didn't sound good. I actually liked Shirley's voice actor. That's really about it. Got to wait for episode 2 to see if any meaningful gain is made for the English voice actor of Lelouch.
