All Things CLAMP - Gathering 2014

A breakfast could definitely work. I mean, who actually sleeps for any extended period of time at Fanime anyhow??? haha. But it still couldn't be too early. I know that there are gatherings happening on Saturday that people might want to go to. I think someone who's going to the CLAMP gathering mentioned the Bleach one, so we'll have to plan accordingly if we want a lot of people to show up. And then we'll need to figure out where to go for breakfast.

Hopefully more people show some interest. :)

You noticed the sleep deprived uber energetic zombies too? Yeah that's how it goes. Isn't there a nice place about two blocks from the con center? Peggy sue's? Or something like that. I'm not sure people will want to walk to a breakfast though.

I have attended breakfast and lunch before and after cosplay gatherings.  They're fun and a great way to meet new people and make new friends.  Unfortunately, I have a gathering before CLAMP and I can't attend breakfast.

Peggy Sue's is recommended.  It's not far.  It's a sit down restaurant.  Everyone pays for their own meals.  You order, wait for your meal, and then sit down together.

I was actually thinking of doing it the day before, because I have a gathering as well, and I know a lot of gatherings do go on Sunday. If we did it sometime on Saturday, like ten o'clock, I thought that would be a good time for breakfast. I mean, it's probably a little late, but I'm sure most people go to bed at seven in the morning and wake up at nine or ten as it is at Fanime.

I like the idea of holding it a day ahead. That might be more convenient for other cosplayers? Anyone else interested?

Sat at 10am.  I can make it =)  The Bleach gathering starts at 11am.  I'm not participating in the early events.  I'm cosplaying Hitsugaya if everyone doesn't mind.

Not at all. You can come as whoever you want. I just thought it would be cool if the CLAMP cosplayers got the chance to hang out for more than just the gathering. I mean, I've got my friends who cosplay CLAMP, but it's always nice to meet new people, and find people who cosplay from the same stuff as you. :)

I'm glad that some people are showing interest! Ten o'clock it is then.

We need a meeting place for the Sat at 10am time.  I suggest we meet outside the convention center on the Marriott side of the water fountains.  It's the same meeting place for our CLAMP gathering ^__^  Eeri-chan, OK I post at the CLAMP forum at cosplay.com?

BTW, the Bleach cosplay chess, taking place at 9:30am, is on the Hilton side of the water fountains.  Think of that we're meeting the opposite side of the chess event.

That works. I was gonna suggest that as the meeting place, anyhow, since that's the place most meet-ups happen and it would be easiest to find for someone who has never been before. Just look for the Cardcaptor Sakura in the Watery battle costume with the Watery Card. :)

And I was contemplating posting this there, myself, but feel free to do so now. I've got homework to do as it is, so I shouldn't let myself get distracted. I've got a final due tomorrow and a paper. -headdesk-

I'm cosplaying Hitsugaya.  If I wake up really early, I watch the Bleach cosplay chess.  I walk to the Marriott side of the water fountains at 9:55am

I post the map for those running late and want to meet us at Peggy Sue's.  The best way is to cross W San Carlos St and walk beween the Montgomery Theatre, Parkside Hall, and the Crowne Plaza Hotel.  You see Peggy Sue's when you walk between the three buildings.
