Fanime 2008 excitement

Just finished commissioning my cosplays this morning (with everything else going on I have no time to make them by hand this year).  All I need now is my plane ticket and I'll be set!  Darn Southwest for not having tickets available yet!

Okay, I am really, really, really, really excited here. so damn excited that I can't even sleep for some nights. It's driving me and my friends CRAZY!!!!

uhm what time does the opening ceremony usually starts?!! ??? ??? ???

The "opening ceremonies" aren't until early afternoon Friday usually.  But I think things get started at around 10AM on Friday if I remember correctly from last year.  As of last year there are also some things to do on Thursday night for those who are pre-registered.

I'm going traveling all by myself for the first time. Not only that, it will also be my birthday during the convention.

This is going to be my first year in a *real* costume, so I am super excited! I'm kinda thankful it's still a little ways away though because I'm not prepared. ^-^() I still have to finish this costume, get all the gadgets...

I think about it almost on a constant basis and it makes my heart race thinking about the exciting drive there! Seeing all the costumes, feeling the friendly atmosphere - it's all something I love to be around! I've been going to the staff meetings with a friend who's volunteering for the arcade room, and just walking through the convention center and the hotels was enough to make me scream and run down the halls!

I remember those days when i started go to Fanime con 99..those where the great days when u where free as a bird lol as a staff i guess. but fanime seems to get better every year that passes by.we will see what wonders fanime 08 has to offer us this year..

Yeah me and my friend have are room reserved and everything. This is my first time doing more than one costume. I wanted to do three but I think I'm just going to simplify it to just two. I can't wait!!!!! I want to play in some of the Smash Brothers tournaments. The countdown on the website kills me because I'm soooo impatient. ><;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

i really cant wait, when i go by downtown san jose i get a little nostolgic and miss all the otaku and cosplayers running around down town. :,(

i've got my room and just getting to work on my cosplay. i'm looking forward to seeing all you again and meeting all the first timers=)
