I toned down a lot, watching some older stuff as of late. I just found out how addicting guren lagann is.

I recently marathoned it myself.  It's a bit too over-the-top and definitely a bit much to take in the kind of 20ish episode chunk I took it in.  Overall, very GAINAX.  It was definitely worth the watch, but not extraordinary.
