Naruto Gathering 2008 Post your pictures now!

Correct me if I'm wrong...but I think I count 105 people in the group photo.  Wow!  And I know there are a lot of people I can't see / people who weren't in the group photo.  WOW!

Honestly I went to the Bleach gathering the day before and I was surprised how much BIGGER the Naruto Gathering felt...so I wanted to count and see how many people where there.  I'm thinking that if I counted right and there are 105 people in the pic, then it's a safe guess to say our total gathering was 120+  And THAT, my friends, is epic.

I thought this year's gathering was really well-organized! I arrive a tad late so I missed the first few photo op's, but I really liked the structure this year, with the circle and all; it worked extremely well. Of the three Fanime Naruto gatherings I've gone to actually, this was my favorite! (: Fantastic job organizing, BrightHeart! ♥

Hmm...good point.  How about a compromise.  I'll open the 2009 thread sometime this week (I'm having my wisdom teeth removed on Thursday and I want to put the thread up before I do that).  But nothing says I have to close the 2008 thread right away.  I'll keep 2008 open for a little longer to post pictures and comments about 2008 for another week or so.

Also, what do you guys think went well this year?  What could have been better?  And before anyone complains at me that Sunday was a bad day please remember that we have no choice what day our gathering is on.  Bleach and Naruto change days every year, this was our year for Sunday.  We're up for Saturday in 2009.

Personally I think the whole gathering went well except for the Naruto Freeze Tag which didnt happen cuze of the Yaoi Pics.
Sheesh people and their guy on guy action but granted I'm a Yaoi and Yuri supporter ;D ;D

As this was my first time attending the Naruto gathering at Fanime, I don't have anything to compare it to.  Personally, I didn't like the circle.  Maybe it's just me, but I had a hard time squeezing through the circle... and because the crowd was so thick, I couldn't see what was going on inside.  I was wishing for everyone to be shorter than me - or for everyone to just sit down!

Oh!  That's the first picture I've seen of us at Fanime where both kids are (sort of) looking at the camera and behaving!  Thank you so much!  (saves picture)  My son didn't spend much time in his costume, so I honestly didn't expect to find any of him.

Yes, really.  We're cosplayers so our pictures are always floating around the web.  The ones of you that I remember are from IamTetsuo's Fanime 2007 photoshoot.

I may have to remake her Hinata jacket, too.  At this age, she's growing fast!  Now all we need for Sac Anime is a Kiba and a Shino for a complete Team 8.  Someone suggested that I make my son a Kiba costume.  That's a good idea in theory... except I don't think he'll hold still long enough for me to apply red face paint!

Now that I know how the circle works, next year I will be sure to squeeze up front early so that I can see/hear what's going on.

I was actually going to do a Team 8 photoshoot with two of my friends who were Kiba & Shino, except I wasn't sure if the Shino one was bringing that cosplay to Fanime, and we couldn't find a Kurenai. Now all we need is a chibi Shino and we're all set! lol If you've heard of AndyRak, he was the original photographer; he mentioned something about trying to go to Sac in August, but he doesn't know if he can. I'll PM you if something comes up~~
