Yes, that's true.  :P

It's a cocktail-style reception with light catering and an intimate atmosphere (ignoring the screaming fangirls). It's an opportunity to get close to the band and chat while enjoying tasty snacks in a nice reception area.
and that costs extra correct?

Volunteers will still be doing the badge checks(most likely) for MusicFest, just as they would do for any regular Fanime event, is that correct?

Just a bit curious, since this one's a high-profile guest and all and safety being the highest concern of the concert...

No, actually. Free - but you have to get your hands on a pass to the event. (Details on that are coming up later.)

The band will have some big bad Rover/SOS security escorts.

Do not attempt to mob them. You will get BOUNCED.

Just an FYI.

Question about the promo code for An Cafe. I've seen 3 different ones, which one is the real one or will they all work? One from the MusicFest site, another on the Fanime: An Cafe Flyer, and another on a site promoting the the band at Fanime. Does anyone know if there is a difference among them?

Tony

They're all valid.  :) The biggest difference is that they were offered at different times. Basically, completing a registration with any one of them will get you into the concert.

Will the quickest way to find out information be on the forum or site?

I figured that's why there are different promo codes. ^^

kaiora

okay so regarding the promotion codes. Since there are 3 different codes or so, does the one you entered make a difference to anything?

The website will always be updated first. Then the forums may come afterwards depending on whether or not Tony (or any of the MF staff) or I make the announcements on here.

As Tony stated above, the promo codes were offered at different times.  The "ancafe" promo code is the one that is most widely used and the "accc" lets us know that you saw it on the flyers than the website.

Nope.  We are planning to do something with the promo codes so if you will be included in it if you do enter the code.

Okay okay. I was just curious because I signed up and bought tickets when you were using the An Cafe Prelaunch code. Didnt know if it makes any difference or not.

Thank-you for answering! I changed it at first cause I thought I was supposed to, then changed it back. >>

..So, there's an autograph session & the concert on Sunday. Let's say I want to attend both, but I'm worried that if I go to the autographs, I'll be late in getting line for the concert early. About what time is the autograph session expected to happen? Hope you can answer this, thanks :)

Tony

^_^;;;

We're still working out the schedule, actually, so I can't say just yet.

But, we're doing things to make sure you don't have to line up early or anything.

I hope to have more answers by early next week at the latest; just confirming the final schedule details with An Cafe's management and some crowd control issues with our staff.

Ahh I cant wait for the schedule.
Hmm. Just kinda curious, dont know if you can answer this or not buttt..
When are we allowed to start lining up for the concert?  You obviously dont want us camping out as stated before, and you said you are going to make it so we dont have to line up early, But im curious as to what time we are allowed to start lining up. XP like could I start a line the moment the con starts up Sunday morning?

Tony

Actually, I just mentioned this to someone else - there's another event (Fanime Music Videos) - in the venue that day, so lining up in the morning probably wouldn't work. Rovers/Safety staff would probably ask you to come back later, when that was all done, in the afternoon.
