When I'm done laughing about what a NON ISSUE this is at this point, at least be thankful that con ops didn't come down an personally pull the plug on your tournament and revoke your badge, like they did to me in 05. (don't ask.) The one thing I've learned about tournaments and fanime is you need to plan it out A YEAR IN ADVANCE. Problems will always arise, always. Having enough time to come up with a compromise can take months though. Speculating why this decision was made or comparing it to previous year's policies a week before the con won't change anything. But hey, if you helps you sleep at night, go right ahead. I'm sure we can all find other tournaments to flock to during the con (yay street fighter and guitar hero!)

I'm not even open to considering attempting any rated M tournies, I just think it's proper to give them responses. (Used to be Tech Support for a company)

Sorry I couldn't plan this sooner, I didn't think about becoming the coordinator until winter 2007.  Lack of communication in the department has left me in the dark up to this point, but I'm making it run as good as possible.

its nice all of you want to do this, but its really hard, M rated games are 18 and only over to purchase and because of adults, regulations, gore, violence its better to just ignore them in general because your risking getting the people who are running it, as well as the con liable. Ive worked at and with many game stores and many of them you are not allowed to show M rated games during hours of operations, (some can but if too many complaints they can be pulled or fined). Its smarter to just say no like JT is saying and i support that. If you want your own tournaments find a place you can do it and invite people but don't ruin it for everyone cause you think you have to have it.

And you should be gathering supplies. We need 6 Trip Mines, at least two dozen Frag grenades, and any guns/ammunition you can find, preferably Shotguns and crossbows.
