No Cain didn't eat me!!! I was at a near by park entertaining my cousins and suffering injuries on my knee elbow and hand...they sting like no other!!!

KIMU THAT IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! O.o I really can't wait to hopefully see it up close  next weekend!!!!!!

It makes me happy that after all the agony and mess ups, and even though I have things to finish after AX, my costume is finally coming together so I can wear it, and others like it...and if you make it to AX, too, then my happiness will be even more. Because Mikarin will be there, and another Abel cosplayer whose costume I also admire....

kimu your cape looks awesome! you're going to be such a fantastic Abel when its all finished! hence i agree with Kitty that you should come to y-con and hang out with the rest of the TB group (Tres aka myself, Dietrich, and Cain =D ).

Maybe you should take a lesson from Her Eminence in how to "sell a mission" to an AX Agent. ;P Although, come to think of it, she's not so great with the T&E benefit options on those missions, either....hmmm.....

I think the key problem with Y-con is that SF is 2+ hours for me to get there, and with the hotel situation as it is, I'd probably have to do it as a day trip, so we'll see. I regret I can't make promises on that yet. But yes, Kitty and Yukari, you have done a fine selling job of Y-con at the Picnic, so I would consider going.

I don't have much to finish for AX, yeaah!
If I don't mess around too much today with other things I should be done with everything except styling the wig tonight!
I wish I had time to finish the cape armor pieces, too, but in a way, it'll be kind of fun to progress the manga version costume like the manga?

Don't worry my injuries are not that bad! Mostly scrapes & bumps! Oh and infection! Gotta love infection... Because I fell...in tanbark...Thus I have puncture wounds all over my right side...

I did the final check of the shoes, foot armor, and 5-strap boot spats tonight. Everything was working together like it should. yeah!!! Something that went right.
And then I had fun polishing all the leather with my horse tack cleaning supplies. If I didn't know I was getting ready for a convention I'd think I was getting ready for a dressage horse show....

Hey everyone! Sorry if I haven't been active in the forums, I have had no time cause of work. It consumes my life, but what else is new. Glad to see that everyone is doing well and particularly, Kimu, awesome progress on your Abel.

I have not tackled any of the fix ups I was planning for my Ion, due to work, and my own damn laziness. I swear, someone needs to light a fire under my bum to get going otherwise it won't be done by the time Anime Weekend Atlanta rolls around *bites fingertips*

OH! One of my good friends was so impressed by our group and the cosplay, that she is thinking of going with me next year as my duo cosplay buddy, Esther. I'm not sure what version she's planning on doing, but if I know her, she might go with the crazy black, poofy dress from the same artbook scene I took Ion's design from. If that happens, not only will I not be there alone, but our gathering will be even more fabulous. I miss ya guys! Hope your summers are all going well!

Hey everyone guess who's back in California!
I'm back safe and sound and full of stories. I got home yesterday around 12:40 in the afternoon in SF and Livermore at 3:00. My mom was waiting at the church and one i was home i went straight to bed and did not wake up till about 7:00 this morning. Did i mention we left our room in Israel around 1:30 am! and finally boarded or flight around 4:25 am. Ugh i was soooo tired. I slept on the flight to Amsterdam (4 hours) but not Amsterdam to SF (11 hours). AHHHHH  there no oplace like home . . . except when my mother has already signed me up to help teach some one Rabbit showmanship this morning and i only heard about this yesterday!!!! ewwww

Geez Kimu your outfit is sooooo amazing!!! I 'm with Nightroad i want to go to y-con, and see Di "play" with Able *tee hee*  ;D Oh and i love your pic of your cape with you wearing your Kenshin shirt LOL!

don't worry I'm lazy too at least your costume looked more complete than mine did and i probably had more time than you did! That would be awesome to have another Esther next year, yay photo ops!!! i don't know the black dress though do you have pics?

 :D Yeah it is a lot of sewing but I even it out by switching from one part of one costume to another part on another costume to keep my interest, and it's been working really well for me that way =3

I'll be heading off to Japan Monday(6am :-\ ) so I hope everyone is having fun at Expo that went and I'll talk with you guys when I get back around the 15th  ;D

Kimu(when you get back lol): Bartboy is coming down to my town end of July, so he's just going to bring our prizes with him instead of sending them to me(saves him money). We can set up a meet-up day after then if you'd like.
Yukari: I can just give you your stuff at Y-con, sound good? Bart's having a hard time figuring out how to give you your stuff too so I figure this way would be better ^.^'

I am happy to hear you got to meet the author, Nightroad!

But I am SO sad you missed seeing me and the others....
Inoli's "SPOD"--her winged Crusnik 02--and I should stress amazing MOVING wings--was awesome!
We ended up with a lot of fun photo ops together as two sides of Abel.
And the rest of the group was amazing, too. Our Saturday photo shoot lasted way over an hour and maybe two+. But then it's a blur because we could hardly progress more than 30' without being stopped by someone and then a wall of photographers would appear on both Friday and Saturday. It was the most insane experience I've had cosplaying so far!
But so much fun! And I have sooo many crazy and fun stories, too.
I'll give you links as soon as I get pictures up!

I hope Kitty has fun in Japan! And glad to hear you're back safe and sound and had a good trip Sister Kate!

I'll have to give you links of my fun too!!! I ended up being able to talk to my author one on one for a little bit, as well as get pics with him and the artist of the manga!!! ^^ (He even took a pic of us all together on his camera!!!)

But yeah I looked for you guys after the signing was done but it was already about 2... And then I kept my eyes open looking out for a figure with sliver hair...Every seperoth, inuyasha, and D-greyman character got me going "Kimu..?"
I am sad I missed you...TT_TT I better get to see you at Fanime!!!!!

Not sure, but I know my Animanga group is doing a presentation, teaching peoples on Anime and Manga. Yea, we're that cool.

AND I TOTALLY CREATED SOMETHING TOTALLY AWESOME! I'm currently learning to draw Sora, Roxas, Riku, Lavi, and Axel in a retarded style. My goal is to get some Trinity Blood characters so I can give you guys something next time we meet! Hopefully it will be soon (but not so soon as to that I don't learn how to draw them D': )

I've been having a lot of fun making these little doodad's.
