At someone's suggestion, I've decided to start this over just to start a new poll, since people couldn't vote on that other poll anymore?

Agreed.  But I can't say that I wouldn't opt for neither if I was born japanese lol.

EDIT: PLUS reading makes you smart.  Sesame street told me so.

What I don't get is why there is a "neither" choice but not a "both" choice.

I mostly go for subs, there are some anime that I watch dub cause some of the dubbing is ok some are pretty good but I mostly watch it subtitled.
You tame a dog with food, you tame a man with money, but you can never tame the wolf of Mibu (Miburo).

Subs for sure. I avoid dubs like the plague.

The only anime I've been forced to watch raw most of the time is the rest of the Ninku TV Series.  If you know some Japanese, you should at least understand whats going on through that series easily not too complicated in my opinion.

I will always say sub...except of course when I've been watching for so long that my eyes can't focus anymore and I really should go to sleep but I can't make myself turn off my computer. In that case dubbed is ok.

To me, it matters what I saw said anime in.

If I see it in Sub my first viewing, than Sub.

If I see it in Dub my first viewing, than Dub.

Of course, If I'm too lazy to wait a week for a new episode on American TV, I'll go watch a sub, and may convert.

I used to say this. But over the years I've come to accept that japanese seiyuu tend to do a better job than american voice actors. These days I watch subs almost exclusively, but there are some dubs that I like (I actually think the Cowboy Bebop dub is BETTER than the sub.)

I'll usually look into the sub first. Probably an episode or two. Then I'll try the dub. That's how I decide.

For example, I watched FMA in subbed form first when the dvd came out. I then watched the dub of the same episodes. Then I chose watching dub after the rest of the dvds.

I usually stick with the sub though... but again it depends.
