Are There Going to Be Any Voice Actors at Fanime?

Hi there.

I have a question....

I was looking through the forums here and came across the tentative schedule for the convention. One thing I didn't not see is a panel featuring any voice actors or japanese guests.  Do you invite these types of guests to Fanime? This will be my first time going :) 

I know I saw a guests thread somewhere on here, but I haven't seen any confirmation in terms of guests.  Any one know any information on this?

As of right now, we do have several voice actors invited as our Guests of Honor. You can check them out here on the Fanime website.

As I am not in charge of Panels, I don't have any information to offer you about panels with our Guests of Honors. Feel free to send an inquiry to [email protected] if you do have any questions and I am sure our awesome Panels head would get back to you.

I would also suggest keeping an eye out on the Fanime website since we tend to announce our latest news there first before announcing them on the forums.

One thing I didn't not see is a panel featuring any voice actors or japanese guests.

I think Kiuchi Hidenobu was the first or second guest announced, and he's a Japanese voice actor.  (Prince of Tennis)  http://www.fanime.com/events/panels lists him as giving two panels.

I was curious though....will Fanime be getting any more guests? 

I was kinda hoping to see some voice actors from Naruto or Death Note :)

I don't know, but Fanime seems to often have Japanese guests just appear without much of an announcement or anything.  I get the impression that the surprise guests were associated with Yamaga-san in some way, though, and I don't see Yamaga-san on the guest list, so I don't know if that'll happen this year.
