Is this prop allowed?

I'll be bring several pieces of props to Fanime for my Princess Tutu Fakir cosplay. Most of them are harmless objects like a pendent and books, but I'll also be bring a sword and a home-made quill. I know the sword will need to have an orange band on it, but the quill pen is a dip pen that has a steel nip. The nip is fairly pointy so I don't know if having that as a prop with me will cause a problem. If it is I can replace it with a paper stand-in but I would like to know if that's even going to be a problem.

is the sword real or is it a prop sword made out of wood? if its real, dull or not, you're not going to be able to bring it. i believe the new weapons policy is no steel. if its made out of wood or some other material i think you'd be ok. not sure about the quill though, thats something you'd have to email and ask about.

The sword is made of plastic. I bought it at a party store and repainted it to look like the sword from the show. Thanks for the link; I'll go check it out.  :)
