_{However ... because this will be my first con/Fanime, if there is anyone else who is willing and able to take over the gathering instead, that will also work. :) I just want to see this gathering happen!}

I'll be looking over the rules for taking care of gatherings tomorrow and this week so that I won't miss anything. (I'll count up and update the cosplayers/characters list as well.)
If there aren't any definite takers or Death_Note_Matt by Friday (05/15), I can take over and send the necessary PM's in so that the Death Note gathering can be on the Official Fanime 09 Cosplay Gatherings List.  ;)

While we're waiting to see if anyone else can take over and finalizing the gathering leader, do you have any preferences for days/times for when the gathering should take place?

Friday (May 22) [Main CE/Cosplayer Event Day] from 5 PM/end of photoshoot to 11 PM {one of two Death Note CE's}

Monday (May 25) at 10 AM to 12:30 PM [Picnic Brunch/Tea Party Day; hang out together; details on this CE below under "Hang Out/Tea Party Day"] {second Death Note CE}
Place: Fountains in Front (Marriott Side) [MP and L for both Friday and Monday]

Fanime will be taking group pictures during the Gathering this year. If you do not want to be included in those pictures please step aside for those photos. By remaining with the group when the pictures are being taken you give your consent to be photographed.

CE/Cosplayer Event Plans {Friday}

We take photos for the Official Gathering at 5 PM.
Each person coming to the Official Gathering should bring at least one apple (any kind, although red is preferred) to hold in the photo. (Kowaii! XD)
After the photoshoot (5:30 PM-ish), we will play some games. [game ideas listed below]
Between 6 PM and 6:10 PM, we can walk to dinner together nearby. We will decide where to go to dinner together.
Between 7:15 PM and 7:30 PM, we can walk back to Fanime. 
Before we go to find seats for the DN movie, we can play some more games if we have time.
We shall go and watch L: Change the WorLd at 8:30 PM in Video 6/SJCC A1! (What better way to end the gathering on Friday than a Death Note movie?)
The movie should end around 11 PM and the gathering will end after that.
If one wants to stay at Fanime after the movie, there will be a dance that one can attend.

GAME IDEAS FOR CE: {Friday} (Fanime will probably want photos of our games.)

well in general all the good gatherings are being held being held on friday and like B said its our best bet to make the gathering on monday, i could do friday but id have to leave 15 mins later to make sure my ouran gathering goes well. perferbly for me monday which is my free day is the best to hold the death note gathering in my opinion.

I think that sounds good. I'll ask the gatherings moderator about that.

A picnic would be fun! That second/fun day/hang out day/CE could also just be when we take our fun, non-Fanime photos. Or get some practice, if you want. ^^

Since I'm hearing a lot of Mondays so far, I'm thinking that Friday would be the hang out day/CE and Monday would be the official gathering day. That way, if you have school/something on Friday, you'll still get to meet everyone (and probably more people) on Monday.

If the fun day is our day for Cosplayer Events,
1) How many of you would plan to attend the hang out/CE day? ^{I want to make sure that we'd have enough people on CE Day since it's not the official gathering day.}
2) What kinds of things would you like to do? Name some specifics so I can put it on the CE description.
3) For CE Day, does anyone have a problem with the Ouran HS Host Club Gathering at 3? (Or anything between 1 and 2:30, for that matter?) If Friday is approved as CE/Unofficial Gathering, then we might meet earlier or make the CE longer if we want to hang out more and/or have lots of fun things planned.
