qtcomfy.com is where I got my hamster onesie. You'll probably find one there :D

This is correct, their new site is: http://www.cushzilla.com/

They carry both black x white panda and pink x white. JapanLA has them in stock: http://www.japanla.com/detail.php?design=2967

I am interested in finding the website (hopefully webshop!) to purchase the Vocaloid scarf I saw many people running around with. It was grey and had Vocaloid characters on it. They were sold out by the time I got a chance to leave my table. D:

Hi there, my friend and I are looking to sell our Vocaloid, Sandplay-Singing of the Dragon costumes. We will be selling at the Swap Meet Friday night at Fanime and if there is interest in either of these costumes we plan to bring them. Luka's has a full ball gown skirt so I'd rather not bring it up from Los Angeles unless there is serious interest in it. Rin however, travels much easier. If there is interest in this, but you are not attending Fanime please send me a PM and we can discuss shipping options.

Luka's dress was made to fit me. I am 5'8'' with a 34B bust but the bust area is a little big so I recommend this for someone with 34C bust, maybe 36B. costume includes:
Multi-layered tulle ball gown with fitted, halter-style top
Glovelets
Zippered waist cincher
Floral headpiece
Chain for skirt
&various bows that attach to the gown with safety pins
*bottom of gown does have ripped tulle from lots of people stepping on my dress all day at the con u__u This could easily be trimmed away~

Asking $75 O.B.O.

Rin's outfit was made for someone 5'1''-5'4'' and includes:
Jacket
Zippered waist cincher
Skirt
Blouse
Necktie
Hair bow

Asking $60 O.B.O.

Anyone here have any ideas about painting shoes for Hilda/Touko? I have black boots like hers but because I use them in my regular wardrobe I don't want to ruin them with pink paint. Any suggestions on how to get her pink heels without ruining the shoes?

Depending on how porous the shoes are, you can use acrylic paint. It will peel off most surfaces pretty effortlessly, which makes people stay away from it normally. But since you don't want it to be permanent then I think it will work well for you. :]

Thank you, the shoes have a rubber sole so I think the paint will be fine for one day at the con. :)

Duck tape? I painted my shoes...

Considered that but I don't want it to look tacky. I might give it a go, thanks. :)

Nice stuff but I never heard of etsy before O_o?...
what is that website about?

Etsy is a website where artists/crafters can set up a shop and sell their wares. Etsy will charge you a small listing fee (.20) and then a percentage of the sale. Think of it like Ebay without the auction aspect. It's really handy and fun! :)

This is rather a WTB post for the swap meet. My boyfriend is looking for a BLEACH Captain's uniform to fit someone 6ft tall. If any of you are selling we'd be happy to take it off your hands, if the price is right of course ;)

The original post has been edited to reflect the styles we are still seeking more models for. If the style is crossed off we no longer need models for these styles. Please, if you are intending to apply do so THIS WEEK. We need to finalize our model line-up and make arrangements for the panel. Thank you! ^^

I emailed you back Mirienne, thank you! :)

Also, thank you to everyone who has sent in applications so far. The panel hosts and I will be reviewing them this weekend and hopefully can get back to you guys late next week.

Hi everyone! My name is Mandie and I am one of the hosts for this year's lolita fashion show and panel. Our panel is scheduled for Sunday, May 29th at 6pm.

Panel
For those of you interested in lolita fashion, this is a panel discussing and introducing the fashion and it's sub-styles. After the presentation we will then have a fashion show exhibiting some of the various sub-styles of the fashion. If there are particular aspects of lolita fashion you would like to learn more about please comment here. All your suggestions and comments are much appreciated. :)

Model Search *CLOSED*
We are currently seeking models for the fashion show portion of our panel. Models will wear their own lolita coordinates and be doing their own hair and make-up. If you need assistance with this I am happy to help prior to our panel just let me know. ^^ If you, or someone you know would be interested in modeling for the show please send an email to geekyglamorous [at] gmail.com with "Fanime lolita fashion show" in the subject line. Please include a photo of yourself in lolita fashion and mention which style of lolita you would like to represent (ideally in the style you'd like to wear for the show). If you rock more than one style please mention that as well since we don't want 10 sweet lolitas and 1 gothic etc. All models need to be Fanime badge holders and 18 or older.

Styles we are seeking:
• Sweet
• Gothic
• Classic
• Casual
• Aristocrat
• Boystyles
• Kuro/Shiro
• Hime
• Country
• Sailor
• Pirate
• Steampunk
• Wa/Qi Lolita
• Guro Lolita

As much as we'd love to include all model applicants please understand we have to consider the needs of the panel and need to represent as many substyles of lolita as we can. We hope to hear from you! Thank you!

-Mandie, Fanime Lolita Fashion Show and Panel 2011

UPDATE May 16th

If you are interested in being a back-up model in case one of our models can't make it please feel free to submit an application. This does not guarantee placement in the show. Are those of us who are being entered in the lottery being a sent an email stating this? My friend I (applied together) never got an email confirming our AA registration or being put in a lottery. I just want to be sure we have a chance at the lottery. Thanks for any help~

Nevermind, we received a email! Thanks!
Oh snaps really!? I totally did not get any email at all about rejections, approval, or being entered into the lottery...:/ The only email I ever received from AA was verifying & activating my account..

By email do you mean the one sent out from the AA mailing list? Or is this, a different email, If so I did not recieve one!!!!

Yeah, I was never informed if I'm to be entered into the lottery or not. It WOULD be better to know that as soon as the info is known.

Just FYI...this is NOT a notice of being in the lottery.
"
The Artist Alley sign up site has closed for the season! We've sold all of our tables, and we are full!

Thank you for your interest in Artist Alley!
"
That's the notice when I checked my account status. I didn't see any message telling me I was in the lottery, so as far as I can tell I'm not. Who chooses who gets to be put in the lottery then?

We only got an email stating we were in the lottery because we sent Fanime AA an email asking if we were placed in the lottery. I do not recommend everyone do this as I'm sure they have enough emails to go through as it is. I'm sorry if I lead anyone to believe there was an "official lottery" email sent out.

As disappointed as I am that my friend and I were not able to get a table I really don't think favoritism was at play here. Unfortunately we didn't think to check the FB or forums until 9pm the day registration went up and although we did register I guess I'm not surprised that we didn't get in. It's easy to jump to conclusions and make accusations when you're upset but really, when anything goes wrong online it's always best to check official forums and other social networks to see if others have the same issues. Here's hoping we have luck in the lottery.

QuoteDoes your receipt not look like this?
Thank you so much. For some reason I do not have a Paypal receipt for this, just shows up under transactions in my Paypal. I've sent Fanime reg. an email to get my number.
Paypal should have sent an email receipt when you paid for the registration.

I think I may have deleted it by mistake. Thanks for the tip though.
