I plan to show up around 3pm. Honestly I wouldn't mind showing up now, but there's just no point in it.

I hope to make it to the convention center ~5:30. I wanted to be there at 4 but my friends are laaame and are working til 5. (Plus I forgot to print out my postcard so I have to go home between work and Fanime anyway.)
We considered leaving today and staying with my fiancee's mom near Palo Alto tonight, but there are quite a few things preventing us. Number one being my homework load that I need to turn in before tomorrow morning. Number 2 is because not all of us from our group could go up today, so none (I think) of us are so we can have one last masquerade practice session before the con. Number 3 is because I'm not all done with my last minute costume stuff, and I'm not dragging my sewing machine with me. XD
We'll be hitting up the grocery store for con food tomorrow morning and hopefully on the road before 9:15. It's about a 3 1/2 hour drive from where I am.

I'm going with a friend to Smart and Final to get snacks/drinks for our hotel room, and then my sisters and I will probably be at the convention center around 4 PM. Then we'll hang out for a bit.

I'll be leaving around 10 a.m. and should be there around 3 p.m. But that all depends on how traffic is and how many times I get pulled over by the C.H.P. :D

I'm leaving here about 1 or 2 when my boyfriend gets off work them us and our two friends have a 4 hours drive (according to MapQuest) to Con so hopefully we make it before the lines close for badge pick up today!

There's been a change of plans for me, I won't be getting to convention until 8:30 tonight, but I'm still coming.
Depends on how tired i am from driving from Hayward to Davis and the from Davis to Fremont, I might show up. If it's after 10 p.m though, can't. have to finish packing for tomorrow. :3

I've still got a bunch of stuff to finish up, swing by the store and pick up some snacks to stock the hotel room with so that I don't pull my usual not-eating-until-after-con routine (I'm usually running around so much I forget to eat...whoops), make sure my sister has everything ready to come down tomorrow, and then pick up my friend at around 4:30. Hopefully traffic down 680 won't be too bad (lol avoiding 580), so we should get there around 6 or so tonight (totally factoring in traffic; I've made the drive without traffic in 40 minutes last year. true, I was driving too fast, but shh >_>;;)
I am heading out in like 20 minutes from now. I should be down there by around 2 pm. Get checked in to my hotel and the head down to the CC to see what's the haps.

left eraler today just to hang out down there and get a feel for the area. my car is in the shop so nick gave me a ride. i had to hike/walk 5ish miles to get the the comunity collage to where we where going to meet. (half of it is down a hile part on trail part off trail (living out in them here hills can me intresting :D )) and then i got dropped off by the trail head on the return so i got a nice work out as thats a nice 2.5 mile hike up a steep hill with gear. :D it was fun but luckliy tomarrow i got a ride from my house to the light rail so very little walking for me then. :D
My daughter and I will be leaving in a couple of hours...I live in santa clara so its close....
fanime is my daughters thing she'll be dressed as diedara....this is my first convention...not entirely true
i used to go to timecon'swhen I was a yute.. dr who, trek, d&d that sort of thing.
if there are any other single parents with teenagers let me know we'll hang out
