I've heard that the title "Samurai X" was used in foreign markets where they thought the title "Rurouni Kenshin" wouldn't fly.

When I was in the Philippines this summer, they had Rurouni Kenshin on TV every night. It was the English dubbed TV series. But, yeah, they called it Samurai X (replacing the logo in the opening and everything). When I saw the Philippines TV guide and saw Samurai X, I was thinking of the OAV and movie. Then I saw the opening....well, it was the TV series...

Another weird thing, I was watching "Samurai X" everyday while I was there. When I got back to America, I watched Rurouni Kenshin on Cartoon Network, and believe it or not, it was on the episode I stopped watching when I was at the Phils...

For me, I just watch whatever. It does fit my mood a bit, too. My mood after watching Ceres or Fushigi Yuugi is always different than after watching Excel Saga.  :cry:  :arrow:  :lol:
But I don't have a real huge anime collection, so I'm always one of the same ways from the same animes.

Well, I'm here, and the con is currently going too.

I went yesterday, and that whole "gathering at Kinokuniya"....well, I'll just say it's not that organized as mall gatherings. I have my own tastes and stuff, so don't ask me about it.

Belldandy from Oh My Goddess (which guy doesn't)

What I want to ask is: do most guys like Belldandy or similar girls?  I can understand in Japan, considering how the culture covets domestic women, but honestly speaking, I don't care much for the Yamato Nadeshiko type.  Much too boring for my tastes.

i dunno, i guess im in the minority w/ u here tsubasa.  belldandy is cute, pretty, etc.  but her personality is too bland for me.  im more of a narusegewa kinda-guy.  :D

I like Belldandy's personality. At least you know she loves you (.....or Keiichi, in this case....I'm not Keiichi.... :cry: ).
