I bring two coolers, and then fill them in the morning and the evening with ice from the ice machine.

That's the only real downside to staying at the Marriot.  But the room safe and console friendly tv's make up for it.

I'm going for Thursday, but I will be heading home after checking out the swap meet, taking some photos, and doing any other fun things they have planned for us pre-regers.  Then it's back over the next morning to check in to the hotel.

So it turns out that one of my friends is going to be crashing in my room this year.  How would I go about changing my room occupancy from one to two?  Would I even really need to change it?

what I want to know is why can't you use your school id.

Because: Laser Printer + Lamination machine = Look at me I'v got a school ID!

Last year they had a form you could print out from your registration account to present along with an ID at the registration booth.  According to the reg FAQ they'll be doing that again this year (although currently it isn't available).  If you don't have it it's not too important, but it makes things go faster.

Make sure to bring a government issued ID!  That means a drivers license, passport, military ID, etc.  A school ID will not work!

For those of you who have scheduled group photoshoots if there are any minors in your group PLEASE give them one of the release forms before the con!

The Marriot has a safe in every room.  I always keep my cash in there, only pulling out what I need when I need it.  Keeps spending down, as you have to think to yourself "do I really need this item?"   :D

All models who are minors, please download and have your parent sign the talent release form!  Your parent or legal guardian must read and sign this before our photo shoot!  If your parent or guardian has any questions or concerns please contact me via PM so I can provide you with my contact information.

All other models you should sign the release form ahead of time as well so that your shoot time won't be taken up by signing the form.

Seriously... these are the STUPIDEST THING EVER to come out of American fandom of JP. Why in the hell do people pay 20-40$ for something essentially so stupid, that the entire basis of it doesn't make sense.
