I'm going to be DJing again this year for the dance (time TBD) so I'm pretty hype

Not super excited for the actual convention programming. I usually hang out in the game room 90% of the time and with friends

I don't have a Fanime savings but I do have enough money saved up for pretty much w/e I'd want

I really would like to buy a Kill la Kill scissor blade this year though


So I don't lose my way of course

I sent them an email the day hotels went up saying I tried and tried and got a phone call a few hours later saying they would put me on the wait list.

I called back I back about a month ago and then got my wait list reservation filled a week later.


I don't know if calling them sped up my process but I am on the list now so that's good.

No, the light gun trigger shouldn't have to be removed. That is one of the changes I'm making this year.

There used to be a loungey downtempo / R&B dance area for the 21+ in a room inside the Hilton near the lobby area but they have since discontinued that area since attendance wasn't that great (I could be completely wrong on this but it's what I can remember).

As a DJ, your job is to keep people dancing. The DJs that get picked for the dance are picked on their mixing skill, a mix they send in that is reviewed and approved and the content of what is in the mix. I was selected last year to DJ and played what I felt was good dance music for the convention including many video game remix songs that the crowd really enjoyed. I had the room packed for nearly two hours straight and if selected this year, I plan to do the same but with new additions.

Each DJ has their own style and some DJs will post their playlists after their sets (but this varies between DJ to DJ). Asking a DJ to post their playlist before an event isn't feasible.

Much like many others, I have been a forum member for quite a few years now and I still receive updates in my "Show new replies to your posts." link from forum topics I have long since stopped caring about.

My question is, how would I go about removing those topics from that link so I can stay more up to date on the topics I am actively watching. Thanks!

I am going to be painting and holstering a Playstation light gun as a prop and I have never used any gun props in previous costumes. I have briefly overheard something which may or may not be true and would like clarification... would the prop need the trigger taped down or removed to be marked as peacebonded? I would like to know if it WOULD need to be removed as I could do that during the prop making process and preserve the equipment. Thanks!
