I'm surpirse there no Artist Alley Subforum or something here. We need one.

I reg for fanime this week. Fanime 2008 will be my fourth year at fanime, but it's going to be my first time having a booth at the Artist Alley. I seriously need advice and suggestion.

1. For the past artist Alley I been to, I known people bring their own buttom machine, and circular cutter to their booth and make it there. That's not a bad idea to make pins there. I would like to hop on that wagon as well and make pin for my own booth. When I check the cost of the buttom machine and circular cutter, it's like $300+ O_O. It's not like I have that kind of money, but I just think it's unreasonable to buy something that you're just going to use one time in a year SO I was wondering if you know anyplace or anyone I can "rent" buttom machine and circular cutter for next year fanime.

I was wondering if the dance room will be in the same place as last year in 2006? I thought it was a bit small, but then again the room for 2005 was SOOOO BIG XD...

I loved the room last year, it's better when there are tons of people all semi-squished ^_^ it wasn't nearly as bad as some places i've been, i deffinantly liked the size of the room :)

I personally would said I prepare the room in 2006 than the room in 2005, it was WAY too big. However, I would wish it's a been bigger because when me and my friends went out of the dance room, people was crowing and waiting to go in and AHHHH...and that was ONLY fri night...so I personally didn't return there on sat night lol. I see there some other room we can use for the dance room like the gaia panel met, the room was big.

Hello Lee, are you going to cosplay at rock lee? My friend is a fan of him XD. Anyway, fanime is such a great events and I hope you will enjou fanime. I went to fanime for the first time in 2005. I enjoyed and I contiues to go to fanime in 2006 and I already reg for 2007 XD.

Like hybrjon said, all her advices are very true and I have some to add:

-If you're staying in a hotel room and you don't want to spent money that much on food you can alway bring like cup ramen or something. My friend bought like TWO BOX of cup of ramen for last time.
-Get alot of sleep BEFORE fanime because you won't get alot of sleep during fanime, I'm serious XD. There so many events at night like the dance, and you have anime or asian film running all night.
-Bring alot of money again...especially your first time because when you're in the dealer room..it's like "anime heaven" and you yet to want alot of the stuff XD.
