I was so relieved that it went smoothly with the orders of pictures, I didn't really had to do much work, but when getting people ready for the official picture, I'm thankful to those who helped move people around, like the Doc Scratch, I can't thank you enough man.

Don't worry bout the chalk wall, they thought it was gonna rain, I thought it was gonna rain, and wanted to move people in. I'm just doing my job as a gatherer and staffer by cleaning it up, no harm done!

Hope HS and MSPA is still popular by next year so we can do this again! Maybe we'll get a better spot next time! Did you know our size rivaled the Final Fantasy gathering? Now you know!

Still sore about someone taking a Rose's bag, kinda ruined the gathering for me...

But, everyone was so positive during the gathering, I can't thank you all enough.

Also, updating the meeting list, since we could only get the the entrance lobby area and fountains in front, Hilton side, since the PKMN gathering is in the park =(
We could still slam down a few faygos somewhere though.

The picnic is sort of like a potluck, sorry for clarifying this so late (GOG 2 DAYS!!!!)

Anyone can bring whatever they want, as long it doesn't need electrical sockets.

I suggest looking for a "The cotton Store" or an H&M, they have nice cheap long black sleeves. That's where i got my nice black long sleeve for Eridan. If you live near east bay, make your way to the Great Mall, tons of stores to find stuff.

Speaking of things, I need to go try that pantyhose method for troll arms. Has anyone else tried the method out yet?

here's a nice tutorial for doing facepaint. It's mainly for GaMzEe, but it is an awesome tut for trolls in general.

There's also a tutorial somewhere for turning pantyhose into grey arms and hands, for those that don't want to paint their, well, arms and hands.

If anyone can lurk the MSPA forums for that tutorial, we'd all be thankful.

Anyway, here's to all the glubbin cosplays comin to fanime  ;)

MSPA Gathering

Hi, I'm Steve, Astrayred0 here, Krimson to some, mechanistInquisitor to others.
A lot of people nowadays seem to know about Ms Paint Adventures whether I'm talking with friends, on image boards, or whatever. And there are those who are interested in cosplaying characters from their various series', like Homestuck or Problem Sleuth.
So I thought, hey, why isn't their an official gathering?
And then, I had a thought.
"Steve: Make a MSPA 2011 gathering thread"

And whoop, here we are.

If you don't know what MS Paint Adventures is, here's the site:

It's basically an "interactive" story about whatever the creator, Andrew Hussie, feels like telling.

His main story right now is Homestuck, which is about kids who enter a video game world, and their fun. Kids and Fun. ;)

It's gotten pretty far now, and I suggest you give it a read, if you have the time.

Anyway, I really think there should be an official gathering for this.
