Hey just asking what is the most detailed anime you have ever seen and what is the mosted detailed manga/comic you have ever read. ( you know detailed as in drawn style, if u want u can put why u think so.)

for me i am not so sure on the anime (still need to do some thinking on that one) but for manga/comics i would have to say
Deathnote so far because of how detailed the facial expressions the characters make in dire situations are, light has been the most dramatic i think.
If I were never born I would have never known the love and joys of this world. One day I will lose it all forever, because of this I fear and hate this world.

Death Note for the manga for sure...since the artwork is sorta realistic it has a lot of details and stuff (pretty much agreed with everything you said xP). Or Fruits Basket...yeah, shoujo precise-ness-ish. The facial expressions and body movements escpecially.

Anime...hm...Hayao Miyazaki's work! I dont know which one because I havent seen all of them yet...and they're all roughly at around the same "level" anyway.

Or maybe InuYasha.

*shrugs*

EDIT:: Oh, and Ouran High School Host Club. I havent read the manga yet, but the anime has very good animation and everything runs smoothly. Most anime are cheap and the movements suck...like Naruto's filler episodes...and Gakuen Heaven at some parts...>.<

Snow Ninja

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure/Fist of the North Star/ Initial D

The Characters in all of those are heavily detailed. Maybe not Initial D as much, the the first two for sure.

frumpy

for manga: Blade of the Immortal - hands down.
for anime: (to be more specific) Naruto episodes w/ Rock Lee hand-to-hand combat - these sequences are extremely fluid smooth for TV quality.
for anime w/ CG intergration: Last Exile & Macross Zero.

I hope I don't get flamed at but... the first thing that popped up in my mind was...

Jigoku Shoujo.

I can start naming off several hentai series... But that would just disgust some people... So I'll leave it off with...

It all really depends how well the lies are told...

Manga? MPD PSYCHO. I will beat anyone down who thinks it`s not at all. For a comic with barely any tones it`s quite expressive. Tajima Shou draws it so that each page isin`t very *cluttered* The guy`s got skills drawing gore. (It`s rather disturbing and because of that it`s an 18+ comic over here)

Though I also agree Deathnote is kinda detailed.

Actually, GankutsuOu is really low budgeted for an anime but I like how they did the effects neatly. It`s 3D rendering in someparts and I think it`s lovely. I think it`s rather high in quality.

Well, I don't know anime-wise which I would choose to have the most detail, simply because I just don't think I've seen enough series' to make a decision. >.<

Not that I've read alot of manga either, but I do personally think Get Backers has a lot of detail. Am I completely wired? Maybe, but sometimes I pause just to notice some nice added quirk here or there. ^^
Not funny...:(
