Were you able to located the gatherings during Fanime 2006?

Yes, I knew when and where because I found it in the Fanime.com Cosplay forum.

If you are cosplaying from a particular genere.... say from FF and you can make it to the FF gathering then please go :P Part of the reason why I do this thread is to let the cosplayers know where and when the gatherings are so that more can attend :) You might want to find the thread that was started on the gathering you want to go to and let them know, but you don't have to.

Version 3.3 is up! There is also Cosplay Masquerade info added so be sure and read the whole list :)

Well if you have the time at 5pm on Sat...then it'd interfere with anyone able to go to my Crossdressing and Crosplay gathering.

By May, there will be some gatherings that will start to overlap and share the same time and even the same area. When it is a gathering of over 60 that becomes an issue because most of the photogs are at the large gathering. Smaller gatherings (2 or even 3) at the same time is normally ok. I have shown up 20 minutes into the other gathering, but I manage to get there ^^). It depends on size and location. This is one of the reasons why I bolded the gatherings that had 60 + members, especially when they are as diverse as the "Jump" gathering.

Ranma12 & zoupzuop2: I wouldn't worry about it right now. Leave them both, and if you notice that one day and time is better than the other (if the list gets really full) then opt for the one that the most people can attend.

Over the last couple of years, certain gatherings have been consistantly held at the same time and/or day. For example: Capcom vs. SNK has traditionally been Fri @ 5pm for at least 3 years; Naruto and Bleach swap Saturday & Sunday every year; FF ALL has been on Sat around 1pm for several years; and JUMP has always been Sunday and changed it's time this year to accomodate FFVIII and BLEACH because so many are changing into or out of for those two other gatherings. Ranma and InuYasha gatherings have traditionally been on Friday or early Saturday. In 2005 the IY gathering had about 30 people. Who knows what next year will bring, but I know that I have helped by doing this list and I truely hope that this year is the best yet!

Version 4.1 is UP! I won't be updating for about a week while I am gone to Sakura Con. Go ahead and leave your post and I will look for ya when I get back! Have a Great Spring BREAK!

Hey Bsaphire hun! Duo-chan here, your ever lovely ShirtNinja!

I'm posting a gathering here, we have 4 individuals for sure but I'm expecting a few more (possibly) once word gets around. We're kickin it old school style!!!

Gathering Name: Sailor Moon
Day: Saturday
Time: 4:30
Meeting Place: In the Convention Lobby near the stairwell
Location for Pictures: Dependent upon the wind, but most likely by the fountain out front and inbetween ( think where ACDC had their shoot last year)

( Just a note, though not vital, we'll all be meeting at the Ball also)

Great job on keeping the list updated and such!

I will be there, and you, so that's two.... Hummm... that leaves us with about 4,000 give or take 100 :P

Yeah if the gathering has people come then this should be huge so I went ahead and treated it as such. Did you want the MP to be Hilton Lobby and the Location different? Or the Hilton Lobby for both?

It's my second favorite SHIRT NINJA! (you know who will always be my fav and #1 ") Don't forget our AC DC gathering on your list of random fun ness :P I think you will have a few more too. I know a couple of people who have theirs done, it is just a matter of having them show up for the gathering ^^) Gottcha up there! Give me a ring or drop me an email... got something to talk to you and the other ninja's about ^^)

Version 4.2 is UP! There is a little over a month of crash sewing time left and I just wanted to say.... Invest in Band Aids *LOL and that I look forward to all the new costumes!
