I'm soooo excited! Since my main costume is Etna from Disgaea I decided to buy a vinyl ballgown! I'll be easy to spot; a vinyl clad munchkin with a hot pink pigtail mop on her head!

Yeah I'm pretty happy about it too, cuz last year me and Cenia dressed up formally (just to have our romantic moment) anyways even though there was no formal gathering.

*blink blink* Apparently my previous post disappeared....*tear*

ANYWAY!! The only part I'm ticked about is that the Naruto gathering is happening EXACTLY when the ballroom classes are going on. Bad timing, but oh well. I still know a little waltzing and swing from lessons I had a little while ago. But if they teach the cha-cha or anything like that at the lessons, I'm gonna be REALLY pissed that I'm missing that.

P.S.  I'll be there in a black and white ball gown with black opera gloves and a half-mask/face painting ANBU mask.

^^  I really enjoyed the ball, and am hoping for it next year... I liked how people were asking others for dances, but I was hoping to see more Tuxedo Kamen. T_T I only saw one [my friend rejected him for a dance, too! How sad is that?!?!]... but I didn't know that it still wasn't a masquerade ball, but just a ball.

It was awesome how people were also dressed, too. ^^

it was way fun! A lot of really nice guys asked me to dance when my "date" bailed on me to be in the Bishie Bingo. I also made friends with some nice girls from the line.

I would have very much liked to have had Heero's experience (who I did meet, btw, hey! =), but I think I ended up getting perceived as one of the "sketchy" guys, since I'm like...old and stuff, being 28 =(

Anyway, if anyone felt that way, I apologize, but to me, dancing with people on the sidelines is the only way to make sure that people who either didn't bring a partner or are not being asked get to dance!  I think it's a matter of perception, because I dance a great deal with teenagers at the balls I go to, and no one thinks twice.
