MAJOR UPDATE!
alrighty everybody, listen up: I've been in contact with BSaphire (for those of you who don't know, she's the one who organizes all the gatherings and creates the official gatherings list that gets posted), and this year she is giving the biggest gatherings (those with 60+ people, like Bleach), first choice for the most popular time slots, ranging from 12 to 3 on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We already have our day picked out (Saturday), but i was wondering what time within the range given would you guys like to have the gathering? I was thinking around 1 or 2, with the pre-gathering game of Bleach!Frisbee starting half an hour before. any thoughts?

you can count my group in!!!!!!! I will be Matsumoto/Halibel (Arrancar). Xaviar will be Ichigo (Bankai ver.)/ one of the Arrancar (not decided yet). TseUq will be Orihime (school uniform)/Hitsugaya (academy version)/ Grimmjow. We also have possibly one more person in our cosplay group who might be doing Szayel Aporro (Arrancar). But for now you can count the three of us in. Ill get back to you about the 4th person. Can't wait to see everyone!!!

@TseUq - you're going to love Fanime! its just awesome and everyone is really friendly, and the people at the Bleach gathering are some of the most awesome people you're going to meet ^^

yay more Arrancar cosplayers! im still torn between whether im going to be Ulquiorra or Bankai!Renji for the gathering, but im stoked to see more Espada (especially at the prospect that there might be a Szayel XD). ill go and add your group to the list ^^

so this was brought up over in the thread i have for the gathering on cosplay.com, but theres a possibility of meeting up a bit early before the frisbee game to go have lunch. this hasn't been decided on yet, but its something ill keep in mind if theres enough demand to do it ^^

Downtown SJ isn't the best place to have a bunch of teens dressed up in costumes walking around looking for some place to eat.

I think a good place which is close could be House of Pizza. Its on the Hilton side of the con (near the arcade room) and they have AMAZING pizza there.

... just a thought. People might not want to spill red sauce on their white captain robes lol.
