Seeing the name reminded me, if you're familiar with Fruits Basket, you could go as Kagura Sohma.  Her brown hair is a bit longer than shoulder length but that shouldn't matter so much.

You could do Lavi from D.Gray-Man instead of Allen Walker.  His hair looks reddish, but depends on how dark brown your hair is, or you could add a bit of hair coloring.

Eh, I think I'd pass on that Kagura ^^; She looks too. . . normal. xDD; As for Lavi, his hair is REALLY red O.O Mine is more of a dark brown, kinda like. . . *thinks of how to describe it*. . . *gives up* But, yeah, I was considering doing Lavi (or Kanda, even) then learned that there were no wigs for either one (because there's no way I can style my hair just like theirs by myself @.@). So I thought I'd do Allen since there's actually a wig for him ^^;

I would just cosplay a character that you like to show. With that description, it is, indeed, endless.

Yeah, it is ^^; My friends are kinda making me do Allen Walker, though, so I'm saving up for the costume and wig. (Hell, one of my friends already called dibs on doing the eye and arm make-up. o_o)
